Statement of Faith
- We believe the whole Bible was written by holy men as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. Wholly inspired by God.
- We believe there is one, only one, living and true God, the infinite, intelligent, perfect Spirit and personal Being, the Creator, Preserver and Supreme Ruler of the universe, glorious in holiness and all the perfections, worthy of all honor, confidence and love; in the unity of the godhead of three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost.
- We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, he is the true God and true Man.
- We believe that man was created in the image of God. Man’s sin through Adam means all are born with a sinful nature and consequently are sinners in thought, word and deed; therefore, cannot enter the kingdom of heaven unless they are saved.
- We believe that all who repent of their sin and trust in the Lord for salvation become children of God with their sins forgiven.
- We believe that Justification includes the pardon of sin and the promise of eternal life as a gift of God through faith alone.
- We believe in the church as a living spiritual body that Christ is the head of and all regenerated people are members.
- We believe that the bodies of the dead both of the just and the unjust will be resurrected: the saved when Christ returns will enjoy the everlasting life with God; the lost will endure everlasting separation from God in the Lake of Fire, known as Hell.
- We believe that the imminent return of our Lord Jesus is the blessed hope of the believer.
- We believe that baptism by immersion and the memorial of the Lord’s Supper are the Scriptural ordinances of the Christian Church and are those that we observe.
- We believe in Satan who walks around as a roaring lion seeking those who he may devour.
